Trucker Running for US Senate

I’ve talked to Mike a few times - My impression is that he’s a good guy, educated, articulate and if there was ever a time for someone that is actually for the people, it’s now. I was going to write something, but this article is much better than anything I could have put together on him -

It is the state of Illinois that seems to have found one such “every-man”, an American trucker named Mike Psak, has joined in the Senatorial race against liberal Democrat incumbent, Dick Durbin.

And it goes on. I believe it’s time for a change. No matter what Party you think you belong to it seems we have all been betrayed and for what? It’s time for a change.

I strongly support anyone who would run against Dick Durbin. My gut feeling is he was seperated at birth from his brother (Ted Kennedy.)

There’s much more in the article by Renee which is really good. Even though I’m not voting in Illinois, (I might if I happen to be passing through!) I still gave Mike what I could because national issues are decided by one or two votes and we need all the votes that are actually for the people that we can get.
