I’m so freakin’ mad I can’t stand it, but I don’t know who to be mad at. I’m tired of these people that want their stuff delivered, but they don’t want to deal with trucks on their streets. They expect their stuff to magically appear on the store shelves. But I understand people don’t want their streets or their parking lots looking like a truck stop. And not only because of all the trucks. It’s all the crap that truckers leave behind. Have you seen the back row of some of these truckstops? Truly disgusting and I’m ashamed to be associated with these animals. This is a sign at a Wal-Mart parking lot in Garland, TX. If I really hated it that much I wouldn’t shop there. I also don’t like the way Wal-Mart treats truckers at their distribution centers, (when I used to go there) but I still shop there. So, find me a solution to not be a hypocrite.

We dropped the trailer at the motel we were staying at and bobtailed to a movie theater in Mesquite. The sign in the parking lot (not this picture) said, “No Truck Parking”, but I assumed it meant no overnight or no trailer parking and we would be okay for a couple of hours. Nope. when we come out after the movie, there’s a ticket on our window. Don’t know how much yet because they are mailing it to us.

I know part of it is for fund raising, but I’d like to thank all the truckers before me for ruining any chance at parking or enjoying life outside of a truckstop. Because people don’t remember the clean parking lot after a truck has left because that’s NORMAL and the right thing to do. People sure as hell remember the bag of trash or worse left behind and associate it with all truckers.
