trucking jobs
I’m not one for conspiracy theories, but this one is already underway. This sounds complicated, but it’s not. A super highway from deep in Mexico so the cheap crap from China bypasses Unions in Long Beach USA ports. Container get dropped on cheap Mexican trucks and trains bypassing US drivers and train operators. A customs stop in Kansas City where things get offloaded and head east and west or continue to Canada.
HUMAN EVENTS ONLINE - Bush Administration Quietly Plans NAFTA Super Highway by Jerome R. Corsi.
by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted Jun 12, 2006Quietly but systematically, the Bush Administration is advancing the
plan to build a huge NAFTA Super Highway, four football-fields-wide,
through the heart of the U.S. along Interstate 35, from the Mexican
border at Laredo, Tex., to the Canadian border north of Duluth, Minn.
The article goes on and is definitely worth a read.
Once complete, the new road will allow containers from the Far East to
enter the United States through the Mexican port of Lazaro Cardenas,
bypassing the Longshoreman’s Union in the process. The Mexican trucks,
without the involvement of the Teamsters Union, will drive on what will
be the nation’s most modern highway straight into the heart of America.
The Mexican trucks will cross border in FAST lanes, checked only
electronically by the new “SENTRI” system. The first customs stop will
be a Mexican customs office in Kansas City, their new Smart Port
complex, a facility being built for Mexico at a cost of $3 million to
the U.S. taxpayers in Kansas City.
I used to like GW, but between this, immigration and spending the list keeps getting longer. I still think the other guy would have been a lot worse.
A good reason Bush does not want to secure the border with Mexico may
be that the administration is trying to create express lanes for
Mexican trucks to bring containers with cheap Far East goods into the
heart of the U.S., all without the involvement of any U.S. union
workers on the docks or in the trucks.
This is only the beginning in more ways than one.
I just wrote a letter to the editor in my home town about this. The Nafta Highway is all about the Security Prosperity Partnership (SPP) of North America with Mexico and Canada. Under this plan the borders would be incrementally erased in favor of a joint “perimeter” around all three countries. You can go to JBS.org and read this. The same company that leased Chicago Skyway and Indiana Toll Road is involved with this with Zachary Constuction company out of Texas. This is where the first big step will take place. A Mexican Customs Office is also being started in Kansas City this year, which will cost the taxpayer 3 million.
Please be awear that in 2005 all three presidents of Mexico, Canada and United States signed and agreement, that all commerace borders will be eliminated by 2008, Oh, if you want to find this look under U.S. Gov union of the Americias. It has been posted for about 6 months it is a CRL report to the press from the U.S. Comerrace department. So, soon we all will be driving down the road with un-lic CDL drivers. Sound like my wages are going down further. Have a safe one.
The NAFTA superhighway must be defeated by constantly contacting your senators and Representatives to oppose it. The NAFTA superhighway will eliminate our United States borders and destroy our abilility to govern ourselves. We will be merged into the proposed American Union by 2010 as targeted by President Bush. It will be open season for more drug smuggling, terriorism, and criminals to freely enter our country. We will loose more jobs and have higher taxes. If that weren’t enough diseases will also come with migrants such as polio, leprosy, malaria, and dengue fever. See http://www.jbs.org and read the book In Mortal Danger The Battle for America’s Border and Security by Rep. Tom Tancredo
I just found out, the state of Indiana has a concurrent resolution no.6, which would establish a study committee for creating an intermodal Hoosier Inland Port to be located in Vigo and Clay counties. These custom ports are just opening doors all the way and if any one thinks this is good for the country they don’t believe in sovereignty. Go to JBS.org and they are starting a campaign to Repel NAFTA which is the legal basis for the SPP/NAU. About 18 states have legislation started to stop NAU.Once Mexican truckers have full access to our roads the road fatalities will increase. Stats have shown that now we have 25 americans die by illegals on a daily basis. You can also check out FAIR- Center for Immigration Study (CIS)for stats. If the NAU is not stpped, the truckers and longshoreman will not have jobs. China is expanding the ports in Mexico and they will be deeping the Panama Ports. The NAFTA highway projects are started and when a section is done it will be a tollway.
