trucking jobs
I know all and see all, at least it seems like it sometimes. Back in Dec 04 I posted the email I sent Roadstar Magazine (on Dec 15).
To quote myself -
You (Roadstar) report about and for the trucking industry, but I wish, no, I beg of you to go outside the box and prove to me that store shelves are empty because of a driver shortage. You have the journalists and the talent to prove or disprove this myth or come up with a different term besides shortage.
Imagine my surprise when I saw the cover story about The Capacity Crunch. I don’t get credit anywhere, but we know whose idea it was.
It really is a good article. They explain about the capacity crunch in trucking. And how right I am about it being not a shortage of trucks or drivers but, a shortage of GOOD, QUALIFIED DRIVERS. I usually say the carriers just want cheap drivers, but they say it better. It won’t be online in the archives for a couple of months, but they are at truckstops everywhere.
