A Good Day Just Trucking Around

I’ve always said that my worst day trucking is better than my best day in a cubicle. That makes good days trucking incredible. Driving through Wyoming around the Elk Mountain area on I-80. It’s fall, the trees are changing and an early snow covers the ground. Pronghorn Antelope graze on the side of the road and the sky is a thousand shades of gray, with a storm in the distance on one side of the road and fluffy gray clouds with the sun and blue sky poking through on the other side of the road. I’ve driven by this same area a hundred times but this time with all the colors and animals all within a few miles was one of the most incredible scenes I’ve seen.

Later, still in Wyoming there’s a small herd of female elk with a large buck with a huge beautiful rack. In the same day we see a herd of deer cruising around a golf course. The whole day was filled with animals scenery and the incredible looking sky. And I’m getting paid for this! I love my job!
